Agave

Agave paper is made from the fibers of the agave plant, which grows in Thailand and other countries. This fast-growing plant requires little water and is a sustainable alternative to traditional paper, as no trees are cut down to produce it.
The strong agave fibers give the paper a distinctive, natural look.
For this paper, the agave fibers are combined with mulberry fibers, which provides extra strength and flexibility.
After harvesting, the leaves are crushed to release the fibers, carefully washed, and then blended into a pulp. From this pulp, the sheets are hand-pulped, resulting in a distinctive paper.
